Pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 206/05, Consumers who purchase one or more products through distance communication techniques have the right to withdraw from the contract without penalty and without providing any reason.

This right is exclusively reserved for “Consumers” and therefore cannot be exercised by legal entities or individuals acting for business or professional purposes.

Exceptions apply to all customized, modified, or made-to-order products (for example, a ring made to the Customer’s size, an engraved watch); for these products, the right of withdrawal and refund do not apply.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must send a communication to John Oliver within 14 days from the day following the receipt of the product.

The Customer must return the purchased product within 14 days from the date of the withdrawal communication, carefully packaged and shipped at their own expense and risk. The deadline is considered met if the goods are shipped before the 14-day period expires.

Procedurally, the Customer must send a written communication within the above timeframe to the following email address: johnoliverfirenze@gmail.com, clearly stating their intention to exercise the right of withdrawal on the purchased product.

After sending the withdrawal communication, the Customer must ship the product carefully packed and complete with all accessories and original contents to the following address:

The shipment, until receipt at John Oliver’s premises, is entirely the responsibility of the Customer. John Oliver shall not be held liable for damage, theft, or loss occurring during the return shipment. It is therefore recommended to arrange for insured shipping.

John Oliver suggests entrusting the shipment to a specialized valuables courier and is available, upon Customer request, to provide contacts of their trusted suppliers in this field.

Upon receipt of the returned item, John Oliver will video-record the opening of the package to document the condition of the package, item, and accessories and to detect any damage not caused by John Oliver, tampering, or substitution with counterfeit products.

After verifying the product’s condition, acceptance of the return will be communicated to the Customer via email within seven working days from receipt at the indicated address.

The refund will cover the full value of the returned products. The only costs borne by the Customer for exercising the right of withdrawal are the shipping costs for returning the products to John Oliver, which will not be reimbursed.

Collection and Shipping Policy

Collection at the store located at Borgo Albizi 73r, Florence, is always available provided the Customer expressly requests it. John Oliver will notify the Customer as soon as the product is “ready for collection.”

Alternatively, John Oliver ships the product to the Customer’s provided address. Unless otherwise specified, shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

Shipping is available to all EU countries as well as non-EU countries, subject to acceptance of the shipping order by our specialized partners in valuables transport.

Products sold by John Oliver are shipped via insured delivery platforms specializing in the transport of valuables (such as Ferrari SPA, Malca Amit, etc.).

Each shipment is fully insured for the total amount paid by the Customer, meaning the Customer bears no financial risk for the shipment of purchased items.

Given the value of the items, and to protect the Customer, deliveries will be made exclusively to the address provided by the Customer, and physically handed over only to the person whose identity document has been provided, or to a formally delegated representative (such as a concierge, doorman, receptionist, security personnel, domestic staff, relatives or in-laws, official resident or other person residing at the indicated address). Under normal operating conditions, the carrier will contact the Customer to communicate the estimated delivery time.

John Oliver provides the Customer with the expected delivery timeframe but cannot be held responsible under any circumstances for delays or failure to deliver due to force majeure or unforeseeable events, nor for delays attributable to the carrier.

Upon receipt of the purchased product, the Customer is required to verify that:

• the number of packages delivered matches that indicated on the transport document;
• the external packaging is intact.

If the Customer finds any damage or lack of integrity in the packaging at the time of delivery, they must sign the courier’s delivery receipt with the notation “Accepted with reserve” in order to be eligible for possible repair or replacement of the products contained therein (if indeed damaged during shipment), subject to returning the items to John Oliver in their original packaging.

Acceptance of the products without reservation or complaint on the transport document shall be deemed as confirmation that the delivery complies with the order in terms of quantity, type, and packaging.

Please note that products damaged during shipment will be accepted and replaced by John Oliver, where possible, with an identical product provided all the following conditions are met:

• the original packaging must be intact and complete in all parts;
• the damage must not be attributable to improper use; therefore, no tampering, scratches, or missing parts must be present;
• the product must be accompanied by documentation contesting the damage.

All other guarantees provided by current legislation regarding delivered products remain valid.
