RETURN AND REFOUND POLICY

Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206/05, Consumers who purchase one or more products through distance communication techniques have the right to withdraw without any penalty and without specifying a reason. This right is reserved exclusively for “Consumers” and therefore cannot be exercised by legal entities or natural persons acting for purposes related to their business or professional activity.

Exceptions apply to all customized, modified, or made-to-order products (such as, for example, a ring made to the customer’s size or an engraved watch); for these products, reimbursement and/or return rights do not apply or are ineffective.

The Consumer must exercise the right of withdrawal by sending a communication to John Oliver within 14 days starting from the day after the product receipt date.

The Customer must return the purchased product within 14 days from the withdrawal communication date, carefully packed and shipped at their own care and expense. The deadline is met if the customer ships the goods before the 14-day period expires.

Procedurally, the Customer must send a written communication within the above deadline to the email address: johnoliverfirenze@gmail.com, explicitly stating their intention to exercise the right of return on the purchased product.

After sending the written withdrawal communication, the Customer must ship the product, carefully packed and complete with all accessories and original contents. The package must be sent to the following address: John Oliver, Borgo Albizi 73r, 50122 Florence, Italy

Shipping until the product is received at John Oliver’s premises is entirely the Customer’s responsibility. John Oliver is not liable for damage, theft, or loss of products during the return shipment by the Customer. It is therefore recommended to organize insured shipping.

John Oliver suggests entrusting the shipment to a specialized valuables courier and is available, upon Customer request, to provide contacts for its suppliers in this field.

Upon receipt of the shipment, John Oliver will video record the opening of the package containing the returned item to document the condition of the package, the item, and accessories, and to identify any damage not caused by John Oliver or any tampering or replacement with counterfeit products.

After verifying the product’s condition, acceptance of the return will be communicated to the Customer by email within seven working days of receipt of the item at the indicated destination.

The refund will include the full value of the returned products. The only costs borne by the Customer for exercising the right of withdrawal are the shipping costs for returning the products to John Oliver, which will not be refunded.

The refund will be paid to the Customer within 14 days from the communication of acceptance of the withdrawal.

SHIPPING INFO

Pickup at the store located at Borgo Albizi 73r, Florence is always possible, provided the Customer specifies this preference. John Oliver notifies the Customer when the product is “ready for delivery.” Alternatively, John Oliver ships the product to the address provided by the Customer. Unless otherwise specified, shipping costs are borne by the Customer. Shipping is available to all EU countries and to non-EU countries, subject to acceptance of the shipment order by our specialized value transport partners.

Products sold by John Oliver are shipped via delivery platforms specialized in secure value transport with insured shipping (such as Ferrari SPA, Malca Amit, etc.). Each shipment is insured for the full amount paid by the Customer, who thus bears no financial risk related to the shipment of purchased items.

Because these are valuable items, to protect the Customer, product delivery will take place exclusively at the address indicated by the Customer and physically to the person whose identity document has been provided, or to a formally delegated representative (such as concierge, doorman, receptionist, security staff, domestic staff, relatives or in-laws, official personnel or persons residing at the indicated address). Under normal operating conditions, the carrier will contact the Customer to communicate the delivery time.

John Oliver provides the Customer with the estimated delivery time for the shipped goods but cannot in any case be held responsible for any delays or non-delivery due to force majeure or unforeseeable events, nor for delays attributable to the carrier.

Upon receipt of the purchased product, the Customer is required to verify that:

  • The number of packages delivered matches the number indicated on the transport document;
  • The external packaging is intact.

If the Customer finds that the packaging is damaged or compromised at the time of delivery, they must sign the courier’s delivery receipt with the statement “Accepted with reservation” to be able to request repair or replacement of the products contained therein (if actually damaged during shipment), after returning them to John Oliver in their original packaging.

Acceptance of the products delivered without the Customer having noted any reservations or complaints on the delivery document is equivalent to recognition that the delivery conforms to the order in terms of quantity, type, and packaging.

It should be noted that damaged products resulting from shipment will be accepted and replaced by John Oliver, if possible with an identical product, provided all of the following conditions are met:

  • The sales packaging is intact and complete in every part;
  • The damage is not attributable to improper use, thus there must be no tampering, scratches, or missing parts;
  • The product is accompanied by a document contesting the product damage.

Additional guarantees provided by current regulations regarding delivered products remain valid.
