Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206/05, Consumers who purchase one or more products through remote communication techniques have the right to withdraw from the contract without penalty and without providing any reason.

This right is reserved exclusively for “Consumers” and therefore cannot be exercised by legal entities or individuals acting for purposes related to their entrepreneurial or professional activities.

Exceptions include all customized, modified, or made-to-order products (such as a ring made to the customer’s size, or a watch engraved on request); for these products, the right of withdrawal and/or refund does not apply.

The Consumer must exercise the right of withdrawal by sending a communication to John Oliver within 14 days starting from the day after the product is received.

The Customer must return the purchased product within 14 days from the date of the withdrawal communication, carefully packed and shipped at their own expense. The deadline is considered met if the Customer ships the goods before the 14-day period expires.

Procedurally, the Customer must send a written communication within the aforementioned deadline to the email address: johnoliverfirenze@gmail.com, clearly stating their intention to exercise the right of withdrawal for the purchased product.

After sending the withdrawal communication, the Customer must ship the product, carefully packed and complete with all accessories and original contents. The package must be sent to the following address:

Shipping until the product is received at John Oliver’s premises is the sole responsibility of the Customer. John Oliver is not liable for any damage, theft, or loss occurring during the return shipment. It is therefore recommended to arrange insured shipping.

John Oliver suggests entrusting the shipment to a specialized valuables courier and is available, upon request, to provide contacts for its trusted providers in this field.

Upon receipt of the shipment, John Oliver will record a video of the package opening to document the condition of the package, item, and accessories, in order to identify any damages not caused by John Oliver or any tampering or substitution with counterfeit products.

After verifying the condition of the product, acceptance of the return will be confirmed to the Customer by email within seven working days from receipt of the item at the indicated address.

The refund will include the full value of the returned products. The only costs borne by the Customer for exercising the right of withdrawal are the shipping fees for returning the products to John Oliver, which are non-refundable.

The refund will be credited to the Customer within 14 days from the communication of acceptance of the withdrawal.

Pickup at our store located at Borgo Albizi 73r, Florence, is always possible, provided the Customer explicitly expresses this preference. John Oliver notifies the Customer when the product is “ready for collection.”

Alternatively, John Oliver ships the product to the address provided by the Customer. Unless otherwise specified, shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

Shipping is available to all EU countries as well as non-EU countries, subject to acceptance of the shipping order by our specialized security transport partners.

Products sold by John Oliver are shipped via secure delivery platforms specialized in valuables transport, with insured shipping (e.g., Ferrari SPA, Malca Amit, etc.). Each shipment is insured for the full amount paid by the Customer, ensuring that the Customer bears no financial risk during transit.

Given the high value of the items, and for the Customer’s protection, delivery will only be made to the address indicated by the Customer and physically handed over to the individual whose identification document has been provided, or to a formally authorized representative (such as concierge, doorman, receptionist, security personnel, household staff, relatives or close associates, officials, or persons residing at the indicated address). Under normal operating conditions, the carrier will contact the Customer to arrange the delivery time.

John Oliver provides the Customer with an estimated delivery timeframe but shall not be held responsible for any delays or failure to deliver due to force majeure, unforeseen circumstances, or delays attributable to the carrier.

Upon receipt of the purchased product, the Customer is required to verify that: the number of packages corresponds to that indicated on the shipping document; and that the packaging is intact externally.

If, at the time of delivery, the Customer notes any damage or compromised packaging, they must sign the carrier’s delivery receipt with the statement “Accepted with reservation” to facilitate any possible repair or replacement of the contents (if indeed damaged during shipment), after returning the items to John Oliver in their original packaging.

Acceptance of the delivered products without any reservation or objection on the shipping document shall constitute acknowledgment that the delivery conforms to the order in terms of quantity, type, and packaging.

Please note that damaged products due to shipping will be accepted and replaced by John Oliver, where possible, with an identical item, provided all the following conditions are met: the original packaging must be intact and complete; the damage must not result from improper use (no tampering, scratches, or missing parts); and the product must be accompanied by documentation evidencing the damage claim.

All other guarantees provided by current legislation concerning delivered products remain fully valid.
